Dispatcher

Job Description:

1. Responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics of a company's transportation services.
2. Responsible for scheduling and dispatching drivers, tracking shipments, and communicating with drivers and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
3. Monitor and Update transportation routes, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.
4. Required to work with various software and communication systems to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus
• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation operations
• Strong organizational and multitasking skits
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using transportation management software and communication systems
• Knowledge of geographical arcs and road networks
• Problem solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Understanding of safety regulations and compliances in the transportation industry.
