Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a specialist in Diesel Generator Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical systems associated with diesel generators. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring reliable power generation and distribution for our operations.
System Design and Integration:
Design and engineer electrical systems for diesel generators, including control panels, circuitry, wiring, and associated components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generator systems into overall power distribution networks.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations in all design and integration activities.
Installation and Commissioning:
Oversee the installation and commissioning of diesel generators, ensuring proper electrical connections, grounding, and safety measures.
Conduct thorough testing to validate the functionality of generator systems and their seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure the continuous and reliable operation of diesel generator systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, conducting repairs and replacements of faulty components as necessary.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, performance metrics, and equipment history.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor the performance of diesel generator systems, analyzing data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Propose and implement modifications to enhance the overall reliability, efficiency, and longevity of generator systems.
Emergency Response:
Provide immediate support during power outages or equipment failures, rapidly diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to restore power.
Collaborate with teams to develop and practice emergency response procedures to ensure seamless operations in critical situations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, modifications, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting protocols.
Prepare regular reports on the performance and health of diesel generator systems, presenting findings and recommendations to management.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-year work experience as Electrical/Mechanical engineer or has attended On the Job training Experience with Diesel Generator is an advantage
Knowledgeable on basic principle of electricity and controls
Can understand wiring and electrical logic diagram
Electrical troubleshooting skills is an advantage
Above average communication skills
Team player and able to work both in the field and in office.
Knowledge of MS office software (Excel & PowerPoint) is a must
Salary:
25.000,00 ₱ Monthly
