Job Description

Under limited supervision, assist the Department Head in performing multiple duties related to the monitoring of project costs and revenue.

Prepare monthly Trial Balance using SAP
Prepare monthly schedule per account balance
Maintenance of the general ledger including timely closing of the books each month
Prepare allocation tables for direct costs such as materials, labor and subcontracted services
Prepare allocation tables for indirect expenses or project overhead
Prepare monthly project revenue with variance analysis and proposed resolution
Prepare monthly project profitability report
Perform other related duties as directed within the project guidelines established.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience
At least 2-years related work experience in cost accounting
Strong working knowledge of SAP is essential
Highly motivated and capable of working on own initiative
Good problem solving skills and a high level of numeracy
Demonstrated communication and organization skills
Ability to work in a team based environment
