CAD Operator

CAD technician or drafter uses CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and plans for various industries, such as engineering, architecture, manufacturing, and construction.

Responsibilities
Creating Detailed Drawings: Producing accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
Modifying Existing Designs: Updating and modifying existing drawings to reflect changes or corrections.
Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
Technical Documentation: Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Compliance: Ensuring that drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Material Lists: Generating bills of materials and other related documents to support project planning and execution.
Data Management: Organizing and managing CAD files and associated documents.
Quality Control: Reviewing drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications.
Skills
Proficiency in CAD Software: Expert knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD
