QA Supervisor (46530) - Calamba Laguna

 Responsible for the coordination of actions necessary for product quality in the Incoming, In process, Production and Outgoing products; prepares and updates inspection-related documents. Perform failure analysis, statistical review and studies and initiate actions in coordination of concerned section and supports new product/die evaluation.

 Responsible for overseeing all activities pertaining to Quality, supervising QA Staff and QA engineers, customer Quality requirements based from their respective specification and standard. Responsible also for customer Quality service, particularly complaint’s corrective and preventive action as well as effectiveness; Statistical Process Control implementation in the production line.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review and improve product quality inspection to simplify way of checking.
2. See to it that activities of subordinates are carry out like QA inspection and on time response to customer complaints/request.
3. Schedules workload for quality inspectors as per production plan for in coming and in-process and as for delivery plan for outgoing inspection
4. Attends to all quality related problems immediately, either production related problems, in-house, customer claims and other quality related issues which needs immediate feedback to the customer.
5. Reviews, evaluates performance appraisals, job descriptions, promotions of employees under his direct control and supervision.
6. Monitors quality complaints received from customers and ensured that prompt corrective actions are implemented.
7. Coordinate with production, engineering staff, QA and other support group on technical matters pertaining to resolution of non-conformance and improvement of quality and productivity.
8. Review and approve QC document and relevance to its usage or application.
9. Support production line in launching new products.
10. Facilitate active participation of subordinates on company activities and program (e.g. Good housekeeping (5’S), KAIZEN, Individual suggestion, etc.).
11. Perform, other task advise by the Department Head/Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
Graduate / Under Grad of any 4- or -5 years course
Graduate of any Vocational course

Other Qualification:
At least 3 years in manufacturing as a QA Supervisor

Skills and Competence Requirement:
 Knowledge in QC management system
 Can perform parts measurement using common measuring tools
 Understand QC Tools
 Can make technical report

Initial Training Requirement:
 Technical Drawing Interpretation
 7 QC Tools (Flow chart, Cause & Effect diagram, Control charts, Checklist, Histogram, Pareto Chart, Scatter Plot)
