Job Description
Job Purpose:
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the sales process by assisting customers in identifying their product needs, providing product demonstrations and recommendations, and completing sales transactions. Experience in the IT service industry preferred but not required.
Job Requirements:
1. Strong product knowledge and ability to explain the features and benefits of products.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and build rapport.
3. Ability to use computer and sales system to input and retrieve customer information.
4. Proficiency in basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and ability to calculate prices, discounts, taxes and commissions.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure customer orders are processed correctly.
6. Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
9. Strong customer service skills and ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience in a sales environment is preferred. Knowledge and interest in IT products is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers is a must.
