Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 5 Axis CNC Machine Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a 5 Axis CNC machine, utilizing the B-Solid software which is developed by Biesse. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC programming, precision machining, and the ability to work with complex designs and materials.
Responsibilities:
Program the Biesse 5 Axis CNC machine using B-Solid software to produce high-precision components.
Interpret and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
Set up and calibrate the CNC machine, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the CNC machine to ensure smooth operation.
Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high-quality standards.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop and refine manufacturing processes.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
Maintain documentation of programming processes, setup sheets, and operational procedures.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Education: Associate degree in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in programming and operating 5 Axis CNC machines, preferably with Biesse machines and B-Solid software.
Proficiency in B-Solid software for CNC programming.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of materials and machining processes.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting processes.
Experience with other CNC programming software and machines.
Certification in CNC machining or programming.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment focused on high-precision components.
