Job Description
The Home Automation Specialist is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining advanced home automation systems that integrate various smart home technologies. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences, and developing customized solutions that enhance comfort, security, and energy efficiency. The specialist will install, program and configure devices such as lighting, climate control, security systems, entertainment systems, and other smart appliances, ensuring seamless operation and user-friendly interfaces. The role requires staying up to date with the latest technology trends, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing ongoing support and training to clients.
Responsibilities:
Research, develop, and test smart home solutions, including hardware and software components.
Develop expertise in products being carried, out to be able to provide technical assistance whether remotely or on-site.
Conduct thorough testing of smart home devices to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance.
Install, service, and troubleshoot cutting-edge smart home technology in customer homes. Enable automation and control of devices through home computers and apps.
Work on integrating smart home devices with various platforms and ecosystems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in smart home technologies to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions, ensuring knowledge transfer within the team.
Requirements:
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in the home automation field preferred
Experience in construction and electrical field would be advantageous
Knowledge of hardware design and embedded systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
