Authorities & Responsibilities:

1. Provides IT support services for internal customers, takes direction from more senior individuals and assists in problem identification and resolution

2. A key responsibility is to respond to and resolve client problems and requests and to escalate when client satisfaction or availability is at risk.

3. Provides customer support for reported problems and resolves issues using simple “cause and effect”.

4. Participates in various project related and team meetings.

5. Plans appropriate execution of own tasks so that time is effectively used and progress can be monitored.

6. Thoroughly reviews CR (Change request) requesting deployment into the non-production environments prior to approving.

7. Validates that associated code being deployed is checked in and deployment labels locked.

8. Continued focus on personal development and training in core it skill categories.

9. Coordinate any redirect/escalated problems with appropriate resource, providing pertinent details required by the next level support group

10. Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
