Qualifications:

• BSc in engineering, construction science, or relevant discipline
• Proven experience as an estimator or similar position preferred
• Familiarity with financial and project management principles
• In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods
• Strong math and IT ability with an analytical mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
• Thoroughness, reliability, and excellent organizational skills
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is an asset but not required

Responsibilities:

• Manage project cost estimates.
• Oversee project engineering tasks including pump and equipment selection.
• Assist sales and marketing with technical proposals.
• Willingness to undergo training locally and abroad with principal partners.
• Ensure timely project completion.
• Understand project requirements thoroughly.
• Identify key variables for cost estimates.
• Gather information from sites, warehouses, and other sources.
• Research labor costs, materials, and production times.
• Utilize software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
• Perform risk analysis.
• Prepare and submit estimate reports or bids.
• Cultivate relationships with key vendors.
• Offer consultation on planning aspects such as schedules and manpower needs.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
