Job Description

Overview
• This is a dynamic role for an experienced Corporate Communications Executive/Senior Executive with dual functions: in (1) Internal Branding and Communications, and (2) Content Creation.
• For (1), the ideal candidate should possess a blend of communication skills, creative flair, and a deep understanding of employee relations.
• For (2), the ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for details, and the ability to produce high-quality written and visual content that effectively communicates our brand message to both internal and external audiences.
• This role is vital in shaping and maintaining a positive corporate culture, ensuring alignment with the brand identity, and enhancing our company's reputation through compelling and appealing content for both internal and external audiences.
• 1 year contract role that is convertible to permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive content and internal communication activities to support corporate objectives, enhance brand awareness, and engage stakeholders.
• Generate engaging written content for both internal/external channels such as articles, blog posts, newsletters, and emails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and regionally to produce visually appealing multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and other brand assets.
• Research industry and competitor activities to identify content opportunities and thought leadership initiatives.
• Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in content creation and internal communications, recommending innovative approaches for improved effectiveness.
• Implement internal communication activities/events to reinforce Hitachi's brand values among employees, as well as to foster better employee relations.

• Collaborate closely with HQ and regional offices to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
• Handle ad-hoc requests and projects, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in Corporate Communications, Content Strategy, or Digital Marketing is advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate communications, content creation, or related fields, preferably within an MNC environment.
• Strong understanding of the B2B landscape in Southeast Asia, particularly in technology and innovation sectors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting clear, concise, and engaging messaging tailored to diverse audiences. Proficiency in proofreading is a plus.
• Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or video editing software is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in project management, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in communication tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and email marketing platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels.
• Creative mindset and innovative thinking, passionate about storytelling and developing compelling content to achieve business objectives while upholding brand integrity and reputation.
