Sr. Manager - Landscape Architect

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design process for landscape architecture projects, including conceptualization, planning, and implementation.

2. Manage project teams and ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

3. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into creative and functional design solutions.

4. Supervise and mentor a team of landscape architects, designers, and technicians.

5. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering professional growth and development.

6. Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

7. Develop conceptual and schematic designs for landscape projects, incorporating client requirements, site constraints, and environmental considerations.

8. Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and design documentation.

9. Utilize digital modeling and visualization tools to present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

10. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.

11. Present design proposals, progress updates, and project deliverables to clients in a clear and professional manner.

12. Address client feedback and incorporate revisions to ensure client satisfaction.

13. Ensure that design solutions meet established standards of quality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.

14. Conduct thorough reviews of design documentation to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

15. Implement quality control measures to uphold the integrity of design deliverables.

16. Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to integrate landscape design with other project elements.

17. Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for project implementation.

18. Monitor project progress, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.

19. Incorporate principles of sustainability, resilience, and environmental stewardship into landscape design solutions.

20. Advocate for sustainable practices and promote awareness of environmental issues within the landscape architecture profession.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field. Professional licensure or certification preferred.

2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with demonstrated proficiency in project management and team leadership.

3. Preferably with international work experience but not required.

4. Strong design sensibility and creativity.

5. Excellent project management and organizational skills.

6. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.

7. Effective communication and presentation abilities.

8. Willing to travel locally and internationally.
