IT Specialist - Graphic Designer

Job Overview:
A creative and technically proficient IT Specialist with a background in graphic design to join our corrugated box manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually appealing graphics and packaging solutions for our corrugated boxes, while also providing technical support for IT systems and software used in the design process. This role requires a combination of artistic talent, digital design skills, and IT expertise to enhance our product offerings and support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Graphic Design:
• Create innovative and eye-catching graphics for corrugated box packaging, considering factors such as branding, product visibility, and printing capabilities.
• Develop box dielines, layouts, and artwork concepts that meet customer requirements and industry standards, ensuring compatibility with production processes.
2. Packaging Prototyping:
• Use graphic design software and CAD tools to create digital prototypes and 3D renderings of corrugated box designs, allowing for visualization and feedback prior to production.
3. Technical Support:
• Provide technical support and training to design team members on graphic design software, CAD tools, and other IT systems used in the packaging design process.
• Troubleshoot software issues, resolve technical challenges, and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
4. Quality Assurance:
• Review and approve final box designs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to customer specifications and printing requirements.
• Conduct pre-production checks and color proofs to validate design integrity and minimize errors during manufacturing.
5. Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to develop packaging solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements, share design concepts, and solicit feedback throughout the design process.
6. Innovation and Research:
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices related to packaging and printing.
• Explore new materials, techniques, and design concepts to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our corrugated box products.
