Job Description
➢ Graduate of any 4 yr. Food and Beverage related course or at least college level.
Sr High school graduate with NCII.
➢ At least 1-year work experience in a casual dine-in restaurant or fast food is an
advantage.
➢ Fresh Graduate with On the Job Training background as Barista.
➢ Preferably employed with coffee or beverage shops like Starbucks, UCC, Coffee
Bean, Bo’s Coffee, Krispy Kreme, Tim Hortons, Jamba Juice, Seattle Best, and Cinnabon.
➢ With work experience from McDonald’s, Kenny Rogers, Shakey’s, J-Co, Burger
king, Banapple, TGIF, Mesa Filipino, Wendy’s, Shangri-La, and Burger Kings,
Jollibee Food Corporation, is also acceptable.
➢ Visible Tattoo is allowed as long as it can be concealed or can be covered by an
arm sleeve.
• Promotes company product by educating customers; preparing and serving a variety of drinks.
• Welcomes customers by determining their interests and needs.
• Educates customers by presenting and explaining the drink menu; answering questions.
• Prepares and sells drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for the specific drinks, such as, milk tea, fruit tea, fresh tea, cream and latte, juice, chocolate, slush and coffee.
• Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
• Maintains inventories by replenishing supply; stocking; maintaining supplies.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; addressing the preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Greeting customers as they enter
• Providing customers with drink menus and answering their questions regarding ingredients
• Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of drinks, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Receive and process payments
• Keep the bar area clean
• Check if equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu item
