Job Description
To carry out preventive maintenance checks on the hotel Kitchen and laundry equipment.
To follow the preventive maintenance schedule as specified in the plan.
To be able to carry out all tasks/assignments in a timely manner (meeting deadlines) carefully.
To order, track, record, and maintain inventory parts of all hotel Kitchen and laundry equipment.
To follow up with the stewarding department regarding the kitchen equipment cleaning schedule.
To follow up with laundry staff regarding the laundry equipment cleaning schedule.
To look after all the tools supplied by the hotel and correctly deposit them after finishing the shift.
To interact with the kitchen chefs on a daily basis to understand the kitchen's issues and requirements.
To interact with the laundry in charge on a daily basis to understand the laundry issues and requirements.
To interact with all guests and colleagues in a professional manner at all times.
Clean all work areas after finishing the tasks properly.
To have a basic knowledge of all other Engineering functions: plumbing, electrical A/C, etc.
To report the status of assignments and potential dangers as soon as possible.
