Job Summary

The online teacher will maintain and teach courses following a proactive and specialized instructional methodology provided with the protocol.

Job Description or Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teach a full course load for 25 minutes or the duration designated by the Company and follow the lesson material guided by the protocol and lesson plan provided by the company/client.
• Plan, prepare, and teach well-developed lessons that enthuse and inspire students and promote the enjoyment of learning.
• Provide advice and guidance to students, and take up responsibilities as defined by administration.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students’ learning styles with an appreciation for students’ learning differences effectively and appropriately.
• Select and sequence appropriate materials, resources, and approaches according to learners' course/content area and audience.
• Assess, track, and provide relevant and timely feedback on achievement (performance and growth) and developmental needs to students, academics, and other managers/colleagues.
• Accommodate independent study/coaching to be completed outside of class in an extraordinary instance in collaboration with the Team Leader.
• Write evaluations on students with explicit formative comments and targets on how to improve work by defined deadlines and provide regular estimated grades and feedback on assessments.
• Develop materials and resources, implement, support, and lead in producing and improving curriculum planning as appropriate, and undertake other academic project work as directed.
• Ensure games and activities align with their lessons and respective objectives and that segments of lessons are shared with students as appropriate.
• Provide feedback on materials, courses, and lessons to academic and other managers/colleagues as requested.



• Utilize learning spaces and tools (i.e., whiteboard, chat box, pens, etc.) effectively.
• Attend/deliver professional development sessions as directed and watch Career ship as required.
• Adhere to standards and procedures in the company rules determined by the management and client.
• Address and respond to student issues/emergencies as needed, be aware of your responsibility to safeguard and protect the welfare and privacy of the students.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all organization and client information, including props and materials, logo, knowledge, and lesson flow provided by the client.
• Keep accurate and organized records and provide necessary documents requested by the company/client on time.
• Resolve technical or connectivity issues experienced during lessons effectively and on time and report through chat groups or personally to the person in charge.
• Participate in the evaluation process consistent with defined parameters and attend the training session and meetings provided by the company and the client as an attendee and, at times, as a trainer.
• Check evaluations and audio recordings, and provide reports and feedback to the immediate supervisor assigned as output to the given task while obliged to the confidentiality provisions of the task and while retaining the primary responsibility of conducting online lessons depending on the category/program you are designated.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude toward students, clients, co-teachers, supervisors, and administrators.
• Complete administrative tasks so that evaluations are defined and by set deadlines.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
