Position Overview:
As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and joining metal parts together according to specifications, ensuring structural integrity and quality standards are met. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and proficiency in various welding techniques.

Responsibilities:

Welding Operations: Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding to assemble metal components accurately.

Interpretation of Blueprints: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements and specifications.

Material Preparation: Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and cutting, ensuring proper fit-up and alignment prior to welding.

Quality Control: Inspect welded joints to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to ensure structural integrity.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the maintenance of a clean and organized work area.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and fabricators, to coordinate workflow and achieve project goals.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, hours worked, and production reports.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in welding technology, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder, with a minimum of [X years] in a similar role.
