We are seeking a dedicated and motivated college student with a passion for accounting to join our team as an On-the-Job Trainee (OJT). This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and valuable insights into the field of accounting while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in Financial Reporting: Support the accounting team in preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Assist in data entry tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts, under the guidance of senior staff members.
3. Audit Support: Participate in audit preparations and procedures, including gathering documentation, conducting internal audits, and assisting external auditors as needed.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Aid in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by collecting and analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and assisting in the development of financial projections.
5. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing documents, organizing records, and performing other clerical tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting and gaining practical experience in the field.
3. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
5. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and development.
