Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications. Your deep understanding of development design patterns and architecture will be crucial in driving projects from conception to deployment. While experience with Django and Flask is beneficial, it is not essential.





Qualifications:

6 years of experience in Python

At least 3 years of experience with Flask and Django

Experience with web and backend development

Ideally someone with SQL or NoSQL experience

Experience in creating endpoints for backend systems with integration into databases

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to contribute effectively within a team structure, with a focus on responsibilities exceeding 50%

Excellent English communication skills

Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as Django and Flask is advantageous.

Familiarity with Node JS is advantageous.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP Webservices, experience in integrating external services.

Solid knowledge of database design across SQL and NoSQL (Azure Cosmos or MongoDB) using ORMs (e.g., Django ORM).

Experience in developing Cloud native applications in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power platform.

Good working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML 2.0 frameworks.

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and deliver projects on time.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Deep understanding of development design patterns and architecture.



Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development, and testing teams to design, implement, and maintain web applications from conception to deployment, utilizing Python Django/Flask for the back end.

Design, implement, and optimize server-side functionality using Django, including database modeling, API development, and server-side logic to support front-end interactions.

Integrate external systems and services through RESTful APIs, SOAP Web services ensuring data exchange and interoperability between various components of the application.

Conduct thorough testing of the application, including unit tests, integration tests, and support end-to-end testing, to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end components, ensuring optimal speed and efficiency of the application.

Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and implement new features and improvements.

Create and maintain technical documentation for the codebase, APIs, and application architecture, facilitating knowledge sharing and future development.

Implement security best practices to protect the application from potential threats and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance skills and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
