DevOps Developer

Position Overview:

The Senior DevOps Developer will be a key member of our engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based IT services. They will focus on the technical aspects of cloud service management, application management, infrastructure design, and more.


Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Service Management: Oversee the management and optimization of IT services running in the Azure cloud, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
Application Management: Manage Python-based applications, including application development, deployment, and maintenance, while continuously improving application performance and reliability.
Technical Design and Architecture: Own the technical designs for all cloud systems, ensuring they align with business requirements and industry best practices.
Security and Compliance: Ensure that all Azure-based services adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
Performance Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance issues and outages.
Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy Azure infrastructure, SaaS, and PaaS solutions.
Container Orchestration: Orchestrate and manage containers, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling.


Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
Background in Python-based application development and deployment.
Experience building & managing pipelines (YAML preferred).
Skilled in setting policies and guardrails for code reviews, pull requests, and automated compliance reviews.
Experience managing code versioning/repositories (branching, merges, PRs, commits, naming conventions).
Experience designing/deploying/managing Azure infrastructure/SaaS/PaaS.
Experience orchestrating and managing containers.
Expertise in SQL/NoSQL database design, administration and optimization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
