Job Description

This role is responsible for day-to-day processing of assigned payroll activities for the ANZ region. The role will also further support other members of the team by providing process guidance and leverage on expertise to solve complex process issues in compliance with relevant local regulations, policies, procedures, and methodologies support with the necessary audit requirements.
Job Brief:
Responsibilities & Duties
Perform simple payroll activities in compliance with established procedures, strategies, and methodologies.
Perform taxation, legislative and statutory obligations, effective processing and preparation of returns, documents management, and maintenance of key processes.
Support in ensuring up-to-date processes and compliance with legislative, award, and other region-specific changes for accurate payroll processing.
Contribute as subject matter expert by applying technical expertise in the overall payroll process.
Support in reports preparation by consolidating and gathering necessary data for reports creation.
Assist on assigned issues and collate documentation in support of investigating and resolving complex issues in support of Team Lead/Manager.
Support in the development and process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
Escalate identified issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution.
Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
Perform multiple routine tasks in compliance with service level agreements, processes, policies, and procedures.
Gather information and documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving issues within the assigned process.Responsibilities & Duties

Minimum Requirements
-Preferably Graduate of bachelor’s degree
-2+ years of experience in Payroll Services in a Shared Services/BPO Industry
-Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
-Basic knowledge and understanding of Payroll Processes and Operations
-Experience working with HR and Payroll Systems, preferably in Empower, ADP, and Workday.
