Business Intelligence Developer

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience
*At least 3 years of experience in software development and support
*Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and ability to develop queries
*Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Power BI
*Experience in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization
*Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio
*Good communication skills
*Experience developing reports, business requirement documentation, process flow diagrams, use cases and testing plans
*Strong knowledge of web technology products and delivery methodologies
*Adapt to shifting priorities, multiple competing demands, ambiguity, and frequent change
*Display a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to new business requirements
*Ability to learn and apply new information, skills, and processes quickly and build upon existing knowledge
and skills
*Must be able to function autonomously and as part of a virtual team
*Must be willing to work extended hours from time to time

Key responsibilities include:
 Perform data mining including predictive analytics and trends analysis
 Create a database that will store relevant data
 Design and visualize new reports and online dashboards
 Work directly with stakeholders and business analyst to understand and document requirements
 Communicate findings and collaborate with stakeholders
 Create DAX scripts that will be used to calculate required metrics presented in dashboards
 Support data collection, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of bugs
 Create required documentation and ensure that it is clear, concise, and accurate
 Participate in the development of the project roadmap
 Work closely with the database architect, business analyst, and users to ensure timely and accurate delivery of development work
