Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Support Executive with prior experience in the airline industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing comprehensive sales support services.

Responsibilities include:

-Providing guidance and assistance to agents on name changes and schedule adjustments.
-Facilitating bookings for ancillary products, managing credit card payments within GDS limitations.
-Handling adhoc approvals outside standard booking conditions.
-Conducting agent education on company processes and policies through the Agents website.
-Demonstrating thorough knowledge of airline products.
-Offering administrative support for client accounts.
-Monitoring contracts and distributing tariffs and industry updates.
-Maintaining fare distribution database and e-newsletter.
-Communicating necessary updates to the Agents Website.
-Generating reports on requests, issued documents, and Travel Service Requests (TSRs).
-Managing event ticketing for key trade events and Fam trips.
-Handling group bookings from quoting to ticketing and payment processing.
-Providing support for Other Airline (OAL) sectors in collaboration with the team.

Capabilities and Experience:

-Bachelor of Science in Tourism or any related courses.
-1-2 years of professional experience in tourism sales, ideally with an airline company
-Understanding travel industry/aviation market and mechanics of trade
-Technical understanding of airline operations, reservations and group sales
-Technical understanding of the various channels of distribution used in the marketplace
-Advanced organizing skills
-Effective communication
-Distinctive sales personality with passion for the airline industry and understanding of the segments of the travel and tourism industry
-Team player and also able to work autonomously.
-Self- motivated with a strong work ethic
