Job Description

Hybrid | Makati | Shifting (1-4x onsite/month)

Requirements:
> (Non-nego Requirement) 1 year of AWS experience - systems integration, development and maintenance
> Bachelor’s degree in computer science, BS Information Technology, or any related course
> Significant experience in Cloud Tools and Cloud Infrastructure Administration
> Above average management skills
> Technical skills in the system development cycle and operations skills for maintenance and support, Collaboration
skills, Communication skills, Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
> Comfortable working in Shifting schedules - 24/7 (Must be okay to work during weekends)

Role & Responsibilities
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, building, administrating and maintaining cloudbased systems and fulfill the tasks given by Lead Cloud Engineer He or she shall work with a variety of different technologies, including virtualization software, storage platforms, networking equipment, etc.to build out robust cloud computing environments that meet the needs of PTI.
Furthermore, the Cloud Engineer is often tasked with developing new features or services for existing systems. He or she may also be asked to troubleshoot problems when these systems aren’t working as intended.

The core responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer are as follows:
Creating incident root cause analysis, involving other support organizations and outside vendors.
Ensuring that the task given by the Lead Cloud Engineer is fulfilled on or before the given deadline.
Create and evaluate well documented documentation.
Participate in global follow-the-sun support model, including after hours and on-call responsibilities, when needed.
Analyze workloads, identify optimization opportunities.
Standardize and enhance operational processes and procedures through automation.
Ensures that all systems comply with security patching and vulnerability recommendations, and that sufficient automation tools exist to ease administration overhead.
Evaluate and test new tools for administration and perform training to the team as needed.
Use experience on scripting language (Terraform or Ansible) that use to manage Cloud Service like AWS.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, scalability, and consumability.
Request and perform peer review for code, designs, and documents.
Provide work breakdown and estimates for complex tasks.
Use deep understanding and experience on Cloud-base services like VPC, EC2, IAM, ECS, Cloudwatch, Route53 and etc.
Manage the user access to the cloud console.
Manage user groupings, role and policy to the cloud console access.
Manage the user access to the compute instance and other cloud-base resources that needs the user credentials.
Interpret and provide solutions on complex technologies/architectures.
Design and deliver secure cloud solutions on AWS.
Utilize Deep Windows Server and Linux servers’ expertise.
Creates and reads topology or architectural diagrams.
Assess Architecture design, system evaluation, system analysis, and infrastructure as needed.
Perform backup cloud resources, including in a hybrid environment.
Perform Scripting image deployment and bootstrapping.
Leverage resource tagging to allocate costs and optimize resource planning.
Maintain a 24x7, global, highly available SaaS environment according.
Use Deep understanding of networking technologies and troubleshooting.
Use Deep understanding of storage technologies and applications.
