Job Description
Position: General Accountant
Reporting to: Accounting Supervisor
Department: Accounting
Mission: The General Accountant will help and support the Accounting Supervisor in
the timely preparation and submission of accounting reports and payment of taxes by
ensuring the smooth completion of daily tasks, proper computation of taxes and its
timely payment, and accurate and thorough reconciliation of accounts.
Responsibilities:
● Assist in all regular accounting processes such as A/P and Journal Entries plus
monthly closure accounts.
● Organize all company financial programs and ensure compliance to budgetary
requirements.
● Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire
transactions.
● Assist departments in the account reconciliation process on a monthly basis.
● Administer all bank transactions and oversee data recording procedures monthly.
● Provide support to auxiliary schedules for auditing purposes as per assigned
work.
● Collate bank statements on a monthly basis.
● Provide support to safe keeping of internal expenses in the company.
● Monitor account reconciliation, tax and calculations inclusive of cost accounting.
Qualifications:
● BS Accountancy graduate; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
● Basic knowledge of Philippine taxation and compliance
● Experience with Quick books preferred but not required
Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
