Data Analyst - Onsite

The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Using and Creating automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
Removing corrupted data and fixing data/coding errors and related problems
Developing and maintaining databases, and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format
Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
Analyzing trends that impact both the organization and the industry
Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
Create visualizations and reports that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and reliability of analysis results.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
Ability to list the catalog properly in marketplaces and confirming the visibility of the data
Optimizing the database (catalog) with all the required and optional information and making sure that the listings are gaining traction (ranking)
Has experience in uploading products on all major marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, and eBay)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.
Experience with statistical software (e.g., R or Python) for analyzing large datasets is preferred.
Proficient in SQL programming language for querying databases.
Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases
Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing
Adept at using data processing platforms like Hadoop and Apache Spark
Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik
Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions

Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
Team-working skills
Proven working experience in data analysis
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
