Qualifications
Experience in Postgre,. Dynamo DBA; AWS experience is an advantage.

Job Description
Description:

This position will provide support on database administration for all platforms and other database related technologies we support for both on-prem and cloud.
Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL and other AWS related databases and technologies. Knowledgeable on AWS EC2 and RDS
Monitor and tune databases and provide guidance on SQL tunings to developers.
Perform data migration and database upgrades.
Ensure all necessary database maintenance and utilities are run to achieve smooth operations of the applications.
Perform database backup and recovery where necessary .
Deploy automation where applicable for day-to-day operations. Knowledgeable in Ansible and Terraform is a plus.
Installation and patching of databases.
Adhere to company's standards and implement security in compliance with database hardening standards.
Perform database changes and code promotions according to company's change management process.
Assist application developers with data-related components of the development cycle, particularly logical & physical database design.
Knowledgeable on Guardium(DAM, DE and VA) related products is a plus.
