Job Summary: The Civil Designer is responsible for planning and executing work that requires autonomous judgment in the assessment, selection, application, and modification of engineering methods, processes, and criteria. Devise novel methods to issues, generate or change drawings, specifications, computations, charts, and graphs, and oversee compliance with relevant codes and established engineering procedures.
1. Consider the strength of materials, to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design
2. Creates PMR/ Purchase Material Requisition.
3. Develop cost-effective design layouts based on project specifications and requirements.
4. Develop probable cost estimates of the projects.
5. Developing detailed designs in coordination with other trades.
6. Maintain accurate design files for reference purposes.
7. Perform design changes and improvements according to changing project demands.
8. Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take, and verify measurements within the project area.
9. Perform structural design and analysis calculations using STAAD/ ETABS software, incorporating the governing codes and standards, and engineering formulas.
10. Willing to go and assigned to site if necessary.
