Qualifications:
Preferably Radiology graduate
PRC - Licensed Radiologic Technologist preferred but not required
At least 1 year of experience in the same capacity, preferably gained from the same industry.
Knowledgeable in Ultrasound procedures
Operation and management of ultrasound equipment.
Knowledge of database systems
Knowledge of basic computer, i.e., Microsoft office
Above average inter-personal and communication skills
Excellent Planning and Organizational skills
Result-oriented
Can work onsite and start immediately
Good English communication skills

I. JOB OBJECTIVES:
Responsible for providing highly accurate and reliable service by operating ultrasound equipment in a proficient
manner to obtain diagnostic images that will be used in the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of diseases.
II. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists, registers, queues, verifies information of the patient who will undergo ultrasound procedures.
2. Ensures that signed waiver/consent will be secured from the patient
3. Checks, cleans, and maintains the Ultrasound machine and recommends repair or replacement of the defective
machine.
4. Positions and prepares patients by explaining the purpose of the procedures and conducts review of patients' medical
history.
5. Operates the ultrasound machine to obtain quality images.
6. Adjusts and corrects settings of ultrasound equipment.
7. Prints and records the result and maintains patients' confidence by keeping information confidential.
8. Submits result to the Physician for reading and evaluation. Assists the Physician in interpreting and assessing the result.
9. Monitors inventory of the medical instruments and office supplies and recommends replenishment of the items.
10. Prepares and submits reports of all patients seen and examined according to the set turn-around time. (TAT)
11. Participate in capacity building activities on safety and health and other OSH related topics and programs.
12. Properly use all safeguards and safety devices furnished for workers protection and that of others.
13. Comply with instructions to prevent accidents or imminent danger situations in the workplace.
14. Observe prescribed steps to be taken in cases of emergency including participation in the conduct of national or local
disaster drill.
15. Report to immediate supervisor or any other responsible safety and health personnel any work hazard that may be
discovered in the workplace.
16. Accomplishes departmental goals by performing other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM - SEARCH AND RESCUE
1. Checks that the clinic is clear of staff and assists in the evacuation of distressed patients and/or visitors.
2. Search each room and/or floors of the clinic to ensure that the staff and patients have evacuated.
3. Assist in evacuation, ensure that the evacuees are located in the safe holding area
4. Perform headcount of the staff and patients.
5. Report to the SO the status of the evacuees.
