- The North Negros BioPower stand-alone base-load power plant project has a gross power generation capacity of 25 MW and generates approx. 185 million kWh annually. This is equivalent to the energy consumption of around 265,000 people in the region. The project will construct a biomass power plant using as fuel waste generated from the harvesting and processing of sugarcane, supplemented by grassy and woody energy crops.

Job Description
Formal Schooling:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Must be a Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
Experience Required:
At least 8 years in power plant or heavy industry mechanical maintenance, 5 years in supervisory position.
Willing to be assigned to the province of Negros Occidental
Special Skills Required:
1. Technical knowledge in Thermal Power Plant Operations and Maintenance
2. Experienced in power plant mechanical equipment and parts
3. With knowledge in computerized maintenance management system
4. Knowledge and application of Safety and Environmental Laws and Regulations
5. Good Communication skills
6. Computer skills - proficient in MS Office
7. Good Analytical and interpersonal skills
