Job Description
Determine project scope, define requirements, work with the team and others to coordinate production, and meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Develop and implement cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports. Performs performance monitoring and control functions for specific applications, including the consistent use of applicable procedures.
Develop and/or revise trucking processes, procedures, and work instructions.
Follow the Estimating life cycle in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost-effective solutions
Support supplier meetings and negotiations to challenge quotation prices and aim for cost reductions to meet target costs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Industrial, or other related engineering fields
Atleast 6 months experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Estimating, planning, scheduling, & estimating, preferably
