- That the primary purpose of this corporation is to engage in stevedoring, arrastre, porterage, line handling, cargo handling, and other ancillary services, such as but not limited to, coal handling, coal stockpiling and coal storage that are usually and routinely undertaken in various ports, harbors, coasts, bays inland waterways and rivers within the Philippines jurisdiction, to engage in the business of collection, retrieval, disposal and such other activity of oil, sewage, garbage and all other types of waste in whatever form or nature from any and all vessels, and the business of establishing and operating shore reception facilities for the disposal, segregation, processing and such other activities of the aforementioned waste materials, subject to any and all laws, rules and regulations promulgated by the national and local government of the Republic of the Philippines and its agencies and instrumentalities that may apply to such undertakings.

Job Description
Plans and develops safety and health program for the establishment.
Conducts safety inspection.
Coordinates all safety -training programs.
Conducts accident investigation.
Maintains or helps in the maintenance of efficient accident record systems and checks actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.
Provides assistance to the Authority and other government agencies concerned in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation, or any related program.
Formulate and implements safety and health policies, rules, and regulations.
Other safety tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
