Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
· Troubleshoots line equipment, perform machine conversion or set-up and repairs. Perform preventive maintenance and routine check of production equipment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Set up, trouble shoots machines/equipment/tools based on production schedule.
Ø Conducts Preventive maintenance and internal calibrations for all test equipment in his area and maintain records for such reference.
Ø Provides day to day maintenance, repair and services for all equipment, fixtures and ensures that all service performed conform to safety and professional workmanship standards.
Ø Guides production personnel on proper and correct machine operations.
Ø Performs periodic preventive maintenance to ensure consistent performance with high degree of productivity and reliability.
Ø Monitor equipment’s performances and initiates / recommends necessary machine improvements in consultation with his engineering supervisor or department head which would improve equipment reliability and maintainability.
Ø Maintain the spare parts needed in his area or equipment’s handled and required to record and report any minor or major problem encountered.
Ø Perform periodic checking of machine as required on the machine checklist.
Ø Support process engineers PE during materials and engineering evaluations.
Ø Perform duties related to requirement of ISO9000*2000 And QS9000.
Ø Performed other duties assigned and participate in other departmental activities as deemed necessary.
1. With semi conductor experience in Front of Line process specifically Wirebond.
2. Set-up, troubleshoot machine / equipment. Tools based on production schedule.
3. Calibrates machine / equipment’s / tools with correct parameters in order to bring about smooth machine operation.
4. Attains target uptime per machine.
5. Guides production personnel on proper and correct machine operations.
6. Performs periodic preventive maintenance to ensure consistent performance with high degree of productivity and reliability.
7. Support process engineers (PE), Quality Control and production personnel during materials and engineering evaluations.
8. Generates report on prescribed forms regarding machine downtime. Parameters and repairs action down on respective equipment.
9. Maintains absolute cleanliness of equipment and surrounding area of equipment.
10. Minimum of 3rd year in any engineering course or Graduate of 2 years Electronics Technology
WORK RELATIONSHIP: Reports directly to Lead technician/Maintenance Engineer and to the Engineering Supervisor.

Male or Female
EDUCATION: Minimum of 3rd year in any Engineering Course or graduate of 2 years related Electronic Technology or Information technology courses.
EXPERIENCE: with least 6 months experience in Semiconductor Company as Line Technician.
