Team Leader

SOSA JB Property Management Corp is looking for TEAM LEADER (BIOMED SUPERVISOR). You will do daily logbook of work done during the shift. Must maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. You must know the Corrective and Preventive Maintenance on Various types of medical equipment (Life Support Equipment, Diagnostic Equipment, Laboratory Equipment, and Others with TPC intervention and cooperation when it comes to conducting preventive maintenance due to sensitivity of the equipment.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

A. EDUCATION

Electronics Technician
Preferably with Training Certificate – i.e. Biomedical Equipment Services NC II/TESDA
B. WORK EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years’ experience as Biomedical Engineer, preferably with experience in hospital setting.
C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

C1. KNOWLEDGE

Must have knowledge various types of medical equipment (Life Support Equipment, Diagnostic Equipment, Laboratory Equipment, and Others.
Must have knowledge in various types of medical Equipment Test Tools (Infusion Device Analyzer, Defibrillator Analyzer, Electrosurgical Analyzer, Gas Flow Analyzer, etc.)
B. SKILLS

Effective leadership.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information in layman’s terms.
C. ABILITIES

Methodical
Ability to supervise and train Biomed Technicians, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
TASKS, FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledgeable on various type of Medical Equipment
Perform Acceptance Testing on new medical equipment and other documentations needed prior to patient use.
Perform Preventive Maintenance per manufacturer recommendation and procedure.
Able to analyze the maintenance work program schedule activities by priority.
Communicate (Phone & Email) with client and to provide them with information and assistance.
Able to maintain a daily logbook of work done during the shift and to delegate duties to the shift maintenance and other multi-skilled technicians.
Able to give proper handover to the next shift and also take regular briefing of the shift staff.
Attain client complaints found on the work order / service reports as soon as they are received from the Help desk.
Inform Biomed Manager of recurring complaints so that it can rectify the problems on the permanent basis.
Maintain all tools, equipment, working areas in good condition and perform day-to-day routine and preventive maintenance.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Train and instruct other members of the staff through sharing of knowledge and skills.
Manage the day-to-day tasks of the Biomedical Engineering function and perform engineering-related inventory duties.
Ensure the effective implementation of the company’s standard Preventive Maintenance works.
Ensure cleanliness and pleasing appearance of work areas including proper grooming of the maintenance staff and conduct weekly meetings with maintenance staff.

Shift: 8 hours a day/ 6 days a week/ shifting schedule
Location: Makati City
Rate: 25,000 with HMO, government benefits and OT pay.
