Multimedia Designer (onsite)

JOB SUMMARY
Multimedia Designers have polished design abilities as well as advanced problem-solving skills. They are competent in user interface design and building digital products or services that are easy, efficient, and enjoyable to use.

At SlideGenius, Multimedia Designers are responsible for designing interactive experiences, such as microapps and other digital outputs, for our clients and marketing team. These microapps can be designed in any design tool and brought into a building platform where interactive elements like videos, quizzes, and animated gifs can be added to create an interactive brochure that can be shared anywhere on the web; no coding required!

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create visually dynamic collateral in multiple media types, such as brochures, microapps, presentations, motion graphics, and video assets for our clients and internal marketing campaigns.
2. Select format, typography, photography and/or illustrations for the most effective means of communicating a message.
3. Develop wireframes and prototypes based on the project description, interpretation, and direction.
4. Work closely with team members during the life of the project, which includes originating concept and choosing media, preparing and presenting creative proposals, setting realistic timelines, tracking project progress, and completing project on time and within budget.
5. Apply design expertise and problem-solving capabilities to projects for a wide range of clients across multiple verticals.
6. Proof projects and work to make sure they adhere to the highest level of quality and standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
1. Proficiency with Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
2. Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
3. Proficiency in UI/UX.
4. Effective communicator at all levels both written and verbal.
5. Strong design skills including typography, composition, color theory, and hierarchy of information.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly check your own work.
8. Must be able to work reliably and accurately under tight deadlines.
9. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
10. Professional and positive approach.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field with equivalent experience.
2. 2+ years of user-centered digital design experience.
3. Experience in web and mobile design.
4. Experience working with multiple media types.
5. Experience with Adobe After Effects, a plus.
