Civil Structural BIM Specialist

We are actively searching for a Civil Structural Designer with a passion to move into BIM specialization. As a Civil Structural BIM Specialist, you will be involved in the design phase of infrastructure projects in Scandinavia and Europe, with the occasional project in Africa and Middle East. Specifically, you will work closely with our design offices stationed abroad and assist in the development of CAD and BIM Models and drawings of tunnels, bridges, and marine and civil structures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Extensive experience in large scale civil structural design and with general knowledge of infrastructure and related disciplines and other large scale civil structures:

Bridges, tunnels and other civil structures
Foundations (concrete), piles
Earth retaining structures: quay walls, retaining walls, sheet pile walls
Concrete and steel structures
Reinforced concrete detailing
Earthworks such as excavation and filling
Medium to advanced proficiency level in the use of CAD/BIM software such as Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Civil 3D

2D and 3D modeling and design

Preparing technical drawings

Experience in working in common data environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise and SharePoint is considered a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering and Management/Technology or any related field.
Minimum of 2- 4 years hands-on experience in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit on projects
Attention to detail and good analytical skills
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Proactive and an energetic team player.
Motivated by being part of an international, interdisciplinary working team.
Works in an organized manner and in accordance with BIM standards.
