Network Design and Configuration:
Design and implement network architectures based on organizational needs and industry best practices.
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to support network requirements.
Plan and manage IP address allocation and subnetting.

Network Monitoring and Maintenance:
Monitor network performance, availability, and security on an ongoing basis.
Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and firmware upgrades.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly, minimizing downtime.

Security Management:
Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis when necessary.

Network Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, IP address inventories, and device configurations.
Create and maintain network policies, procedures, and standards.

User Support and Training:
Provide user support for network-related issues and assist with network connectivity troubleshooting.
Offer training and guidance to employees on network best practices and security protocols.

Network Performance Optimization:
Identify and address network performance bottlenecks and latency issues.
Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical network traffic.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:
Establish and maintain network backup and disaster recovery plans.
Test and validate backup and recovery processes regularly.

Vendor and Asset Management:
Manage relationships with network hardware and software vendors.
Procure and maintain network equipment and licenses as needed.

Capacity Planning:
Monitor network usage and plan for capacity upgrades as the organization grows.
Forecast network resource requirements and budget accordingly.
