Job Description
Completion of a vocational or technical training program in HVAC installation and repair preferred.
Proven experience as an air conditioning installer or technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to HVAC installation and maintenance.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment commonly used in HVAC work.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail when diagnosing and repairing air conditioning systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and coworkers.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for positions that involve travel to job sites.
EPA certification for handling refrigerants may be required, depending on local regulations.
