Job Description

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team and assisting with various tasks aimed at driving revenue and enhancing customer engagement. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, tailored to the needs of the sales team and the specific industry in which you operate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in-store and at events, providing assistance, answering questions, and generating interest in products.
• Product Promotion: Demonstrate and provide information on promoted products, encouraging customers to make purchases.
• Marketing Collateral Distribution: Distribute product samples, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials to attract new customers and increase brand awareness.
• Sales Support: Assist with processing sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a seamless purchasing experience for customers.
• Visual Merchandising: Assist in setting up attractive product displays and promotional booths to showcase products effectively.
• Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure shelves are adequately stocked with merchandise, collaborating with the team to fulfill orders promptly.
• Lead Pre-Screening: Pre-screen sales leads and share relevant information with the sales team for follow-up, contributing to lead generation efforts.
• Reporting: Assist in creating sales and inventory reports to provide insights for decision-making.
• Adherence to Guidelines: Adhere to company procedures and guidelines while executing sales activities, maintaining professionalism and integrity.
• Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, available merchandise, and new products to effectively communicate offerings to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using relevant software applications and sales tools.
• Knowledge of industry trends and customer preferences is advantageous.
