AC TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. is a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. It was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under Registry No. 75039 on August 11, 1977.

The corporation is the successor to AC Engineering Enterprises, a single proprietorship principally engaged in electrical contracting services which was established in 1971 by Engr. Alfredo R. Cacanando who also became its president and general manager. The growing clientele of AC Engineering Enterprises coupled with the increase in volume and magnitude of the electrical projects it has been engaged to accomplish, necessitated the need for the organization of a corporation to enhance its capabilities for undertaking projects with wider scope and increased magnitude aside from expansion of its activities to include trading, fabrication and assembly of electrical equipment including related components for power distribution and utilization.

AC TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. is principally classified under Category “A” as a specialty electrical contractor with other classification as general engineering contractor, duly accredited by the Philippine Contractor’s Accreditation Board (PCAB) with its Contractor License No. 3926 originally issued on February 14, 1978 under provisions of Republic Act No. 4566.

Starting the early part of 1983, AC TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. have concentrated its electrical construction services and trading activities to serve construction requirements at U.S. military facilities in Clark Air Base, Subic Naval Base, Cubi Air Station, John Hay Air Station at Baguio City and Wallace Air Station at San Fernando, La Union because of the tight economic situation prevailing in the country at that time. After the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in June 1991, the US military bases located in that area was greatly damaged by lahar which forced the US military bases to abandon their military facilities. During the same year, the military agreement between the Philippines and the United States was completed which necessitated the Company to engage in projects outside the US bases. Today the Company serves a select group of clients in the private and government sector to maintain the credibility it has established in the electrical construction industry.
The construction activities of AC TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. is supported by a fabrication and assembly shop built and established in January 1981 at R.M. Tiosejo Industrial Subdivision along Km. 30, at Tunasan, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila. The shop fabricates metal gutters, cable trays and related accessories as well as assembles panelboards, switchboards, bus ducts, motor control centers, H.V. switchgear, switching equipment including instrumentation / control panels to suit customer requirements. Aside from supporting AC TECHNICAL SERVICES electrical construction requirements, the shop serves other contractors, customers, electrical supply houses, industrial plants and utility companies.

AC TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. having established itself as a technically qualified and reliable electrical contractor in the performance of its numerous contracts, have expanded its activities to cover related mechanical and certain civil‐architectural maintenance projects covering installation of heat pumps, replacement and/or installation of air conditioning units together with alterations and additions to housing units and existing building facilities, As a result, it has expanded its engineering staff to include mechanical and civil engineers as well as architects. This exposure has provided the project engineers and construction crews properly coordinated experience in activities involving different trades.
