R & B Ice Plant has always been the trailblazers in the commercial ice industry. To date in its 46 years of existence, the company has continued to be the innovative trend-setter. In July 4, 1968, the late honorable Pablo R. Roman set-up the first tube ice in the country when the only ice in the market was block ice. His keen business sense and vision introduced the newest and most advanced technology that would make available highly potable, clean ice. From then on, the industry revolutionized, and ice, from manufacturing, to distribution, to marketing were never the same again. Apparently, the vision that has been set by Pablo Roman became the standard by which commercial players in the industry had to acknowledge and live up to.R&B Ice Plant introduced to the market the importance of sanitation and hygienic procedure to ice manufacturing. Final products are produced without the necessity of human contact. Machines were continuously upgraded as high-tech materials and supplies became available. Presently, the plant has a daily capacity of 300,000 kilos – the biggest tube ice producing-plant in the Philippines. It is equipped with the state-of-the-art filtration and water purification technology, including ultraviolet disinfection system to ensure the best quality R&B Tube Ice. The plant is located at the heart of Quezon City, along Quezon Avenue with 24-hour operation.
